A few weeks ago we took a last minute trip to Virginia Beach. There is actually quite a lot of beaches to choose from around here! We stayed on the beach in a hotel and had a great time. Va Beach is cool because there is the beach and then there is a really awesome boardwalk with very cool street performers, food and shopping! We walked the boardwalk two nights and got some very yummy ice cream and superb popcorn! They also have a fireworks show twice a week and they kids loved it! G did great at the beach. He played in the sand and when it was time to sleep I just said, time to go night night! And get this...he actually did! Right there on a towel. It was the most amazing thing ever :) C never came out the water. She wore N and I out! She is such a little fish :) She kept wanting to go deeper! J played in the sand and chilled under the umbrella. He wasn't all about the water but we forced him in a few times. By the end of the weekend he was jumping waves and lovin' it! We all slept in one hotel room and while awake time was interesting because my boys are quite destructive, sleeping time was a breeze! My kids love to sleep, thank the good LORD! Can't wait to do it again. We love road trips and little weekend adventures :)
